About Our Jewelry
L Designs jewelry is created by hand in our Austin, Texas
studios. We use only sterling silver (.925), fine silver (.999)
and gold-fill metals. Our hand-crafted items may have minor
aesthetic variances due to the artisnal processes used in their
creation. Gemstones, pearls and other jewelry components
are created in nature and therefore may also have minor
aesthetic variances from the sample photographs. These
artisnal processes and natural variances ensure you will own a
unique piece of jewelry that may never be exactly duplicated.
Product Packaging
L Designs jewelry comes packaged, ready for gift-giving and
storage in classic, natural-colored paper gift boxes. Jewelry is
nestled in protective tissue paper inside the gift box. The gift
box is secured with a beautiful chocolate brown satin ribbon
and L Designs logo tag. If you would like your items to have
additional gift wrap, you may select this option during checkout
for a small fee.
Returns & Exchanges
We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction!
Please contact us regarding any issues or concerns with your
L Designs jewelry. We will gladly assist with any jewelry in
need of repair. Items will be evaluated on a case by case
basis to determine any applicable costs.
Items may be exchanged within 30 days of purchase with a
valid receipt. Exchanged merchandise must be un-worn. We
reserve the right to refuse an exchange if for any reason we
believe an item has been worn. In this circumstance the item
will be returned to the customer.

Shipping & Handling
We pride ourselves on offering limited edition jewelry at
affordable prices. Many items are produced only when your
order is received. Most orders are shipped within 3 business
days. However, due to the time-intensive artisnal processes
used, some orders may take up to 2 weeks for shipment. L
Designs will contact you upon receipt of your order if, for any
reason, your item(s) cannot be shipped within 3 days. We will
provide you with an estimated shipment timeframe so that you
may plan accordingly.
If you have special needs, please note these in the
"comments" field when placing your order. We will do our best
to accommodate all special requests.
L Designs studios are closed on Sunday, Monday and
holidays.
Customers may choose the delivery service that best suits
their needs. Any lost or damaged merchandise is the
responsibility of the carrier. All claims (damage or shortage)
must be reported to the carrier within five business days of
receipt. L Designs will assist with any information needed
when filing such a claim.
Please note that delivery time lines are not guaranteed.
Service interruptions or failures such as but not limited to,
interruptions of supply chain, transportation systems or the
services provided by our carriers; inclement weather; or your
bank or credit card are beyond the control of L Designs.
Sales Tax
Orders placed within Texas will be subject to 8.25% sales tax.
Privacy
L Designs will neither sell nor share your information with
outside companies or third parties. When you purchase from
our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping
addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card
information. You provide this information so we can process
and ship your order. We will also include you in future email
newsletters in order to notify you of sales, specials and the
release of new collections. You may request to be removed
from these mailings at any time.
Jewelry Care
It is natural for all metals to oxidize or tarnish with exposure to
air and other chemicals (i.e. perfume, hairspray etc). To
ensure that jewelry stays bright, store it in an air tight container
or bag.
When dressing, it is best to put your jewelry on last. Direct
exposure to hair-styling products, make-up and perfume may
result in residue build-up on or damage to the metal and
gemstones. Pearls are especially susceptible to residue
damage.
If your metal jewelry has tarnished, you can restore its natural
shine by polishing with a polishing cloth. DO NOT use
solvents, chemicals, sonic or vibratory cleaning machines. For
great results, I recommend Sunshine polishing cloths for use
on silver or gold.
To restore lustre to pearls and other delicate gemstones, use
a thin paste of baking soda and warm water. Gently rub the
pearls or stones with this paste and rinse thoroughly with warm
water. Dry with a soft cloth.
